Our
Story

Local Lens: Korea is a blog that looks at Korea through a local lens—places, culture, people, and everyday life as Koreans actually experience it.

This is not a “top 10” travel checklist, and not a trend-only guide to what’s popular right now.

Instead, it focuses on context: what visitors often notice, what they might misunderstand, and how daily life in Korea works beneath the surface.

Notes on how this blog is written
  1. Posts are based on real experiences and aim to describe Korea from a Korean perspective as objectively as possible.

  2. I prioritize fact-checking and use only verified, credible sources when referencing data, history, or specific claims.

  3. I write in Korean first and translate with AI, so some phrasing may feel slightly unnatural in English. Thank you for your understanding.
